Bag Refill Recommendations

Here at Great American we want to make your life easier. We have developed a Refill Bag Calculator to provide you with your ideal dog waste bag order. All you need to know is how many pet waste stations are on your property, and we will do the rest. Please see below:
How many do I order?
The need can vary widely depending on how many dog frequent the area you are trying to keep clean. Here are some guidelines to get your started:
For Apartment Communities: Open areas and parks are man’s best friend’s favorite place. Start by installing one pet waste station every 160 yards within the area. Don’t forget – placing stations throughout your property is crucial; make it easy for residents to clean up after their pets. Putting stations near the mailboxes, pool, and parking spaces are all good areas. Everyone loves their dog, but no one loves dog poop.
For residential areas: Condos, mobile home communities, Home Owner Associations (HOA) and more. Place one pet waste station for every 55 homes or units. Keep in mind if the residential homes/ units are really spread out, you may need a pet waste station for every 35-40 homes/ units.
Remember: At first be sure to monitor the usage, and place additional pet waste stations if the cans are filling up or the dispensers are running out of bags more than once a week.
