Thank you for checking out of Deluxe Fire Hydrant for the Dog Park. This is a heavy-duty, thermoplastic hydrant that can be in-ground or surface mounted. The bottom base plate contains holes for easy mounting. For safety, we do recommend securing the hydrant in the ground with the provided hardware or to surface mount it in concrete with a 3/8” x 3 ½” Concrete Expansion Anchor (not included).
